We have some exciting news for you regarding Surety Bond Pro Tools!

Going Live in 2010!
Originally we planned on having Surety Bond Pro Tools available for use by now. Like so many other software products we did not meet our projected release date. Fortunately, we are nearing the end of our testing and plan to release phase 1 sometime in the 2nd qtr. of 2010. Several additional features that were thought of during development were added, which was the root cause of the delay.


Screenshots now available online
Many agencies have asked for further information on the software. As most of you know, we didn’t provide a tremendous amount of information on www.suretybond.org, as we didn’t want to spend too much time developing a fancy website when the time can be better spent adding more features to our product. We wanted the proof to be in the pudding so to speak. A small teaser of basic functionality via a series of screenshots and notes can now be see online at: http://www.suretybond.org/software.html. Keep in mind, not all features are displayed here, just the basics to give an idea of what everything will look like.


What to expect in the coming months
Agency Application: Surety Bond Pro Tools is customizable for each agency. We will be emailing you an agency application to tell us details about your agency. This allows us to properly setup your agency in the system using the carriers you are appointed with (along w/ their indemnity agreements), users within your agency along with their roles, what states you operate in, and what bond types you want to offer.

Demo Videos: We are currently working on instructional videos showcasing every feature in detail. They will be released online prior to launch. The software is very intuitive, but we want to educate our users on all features to ensure you maximize everything to its full potential.

Online Updates: Our team is already working hard on phase 2 features of our system, but will also be providing more information on www.suretybond.org now that we are near launch. Soon we will be showing a detailed list of all of the additional features that will be built into the system in future releases so you can get a better idea of where we are going with the software.


Surety sponsor list growing rapidly
The surety industry’s mindset isn’t exactly leading edge when it comes to technology. However, even some large carriers are realizing that implementation of automation technology is the future of all industries, including surety. We have a handful of carriers backing the project that are eager to give our users new quoting opportunities on incoming applications. It is important to keep in mind, the system is designed so that you can work with your current markets more efficiently and use our sponsor carriers’ bond quotes as a supplement to what you currently have in place. All programs that we have setup will offer your agency competitive commissions. The bond programs developed thus far will offer up to 30% and require less work for your agency than ever before.
